Today, we’re excited to share the upcoming release of HP | Poly’s all-new Meeting Control App, co-developed with Pexip, the new HP | Poly Studio video conferencing system. This release is part of HP | Poly’s mission to elevate the secure meeting experience, ensuring optimal functionality and control for users while meeting the strictest of security requirements.
What’s inside the HP| Poly Meeting Control App?
With the Meeting Control App, users will enjoy a sleek and simple user interface where they can raise hands, lock the meeting, manage participants, mute and unmute the camera, control the volume, and view incoming chats from Pexip meetings. In a feature unique to HP | Poly, users can also manage controls on an individual level.

One year of strategic collaboration between HP | Poly and Pexip
Pexip and HP | Poly entered a strategic collaboration in May 2023, announcing a suite of on-premises and cloud-based communications solutions that work with the existing Poly video systems used by their privacy-conscious customers. HP | Poly has integrated Pexip’s technology into their meeting experience through their three Pexip-powered product offerings: PrivateConnect, CloudConnect, and FedConnect.
After just one year of partnership, HP | Poly has moved a large portion of its customer base to the Pexip platform and reports strong uptake of their Pexip-powered solutions that meet the specific privacy needs of highly regulated organizations, including an international defense alliance, a large energy company, a higher educational institution, and more.
