Pexip to enable Lenovo Teams Rooms with extended calling and meeting join capabilities.

OSLO, Norway, January 31st, 2024 - Pexip, a global leader in secure and customizable video solutions, today announced a new collaboration with Lenovo, a global technology leader, that will enhance the capabilities of Lenovo’s Teams Rooms using Pexip technology.

Pexip’s has validated its solutions for Lenovo’s ThinkSmart Core, ThinkSmart Hub, and ThinkSmart One for Teams Rooms to connect to SIP and H323-enabled meetings on platforms such as Webex, Zoom, or Google Meet in addition to the native Teams meetings they are designed for. Additionally, it provides capabilities that further enhance the usefulness of Teams Rooms devices, including direct calling to SIP/H323 devices and use of in-room capabilities such as HDMI content sharing and full use of dual screen systems regardless of what kind of video meeting the room is used for. Expanding capabilities will give users greater flexibility and choice when conducting video conferences from rooms equipped with Lenovo Teams Rooms devices.
