The Customer Success Manager will proactively onboard, train, and manage our customer deployments. They will serve as the customer advocate, focused on driving = customer satisfaction, preventing churn, and promoting additional products and services. The role will be responsible for the team’s individual contributions as well as driving to results for their team KPI’s.

The Manager will report directly to the Director of Customer Success and will report up daily/weekly/monthly results as necessary. This individual will also help scope and develop process changes, targeted marketing campaigns, and documentation focused on customer education, usage, and adoption.

The Customer Success Manager role is based out of Pexip’s Herndon Office and will work standard US-based hours.

Role and Responsibilities 

Some of the responsibilities for the position include:

  • Focus on customer satisfaction, service, and retention.
  • Serve as the customer’s primary voice/advocate back into Pexip, including into development, leadership, sales, and operations teams.
  • Drive towards monthly/quarterly KPI’s, including usage and adoption, renewal rates, customer contact, and more.
  • Help drive penetration of the Pexip product offerings into the customer base to cement long-term value.
  • Promote current offers to customer base to increase revenue and profitability generation.
  • Assist with renewals process through developing relationships with our customer base and partner community.
  • Cross-departmental management of customer issues, including billing issues, support issues, etc.
  • Documentation of customer information into our Salesforce database, including forecast of any renewal opportunities.
  • Work with finance, sales and operations to complete renewal and restructure contracts. Coordination and communication of daily and weekly reporting to management.
  • Work with marketing and R&D to ensure customer feedback on features is being communicated and prioritized.
  • Capable of evaluating multiple different resolution paths and evaluating best possible outcomes independently and with customer service owners.
  • Able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people to help demonstrate value and possibly pivot/position products to solve real business challenges.
  • Able to effectively prioritize cases based on urgency, impact, and customer need.
  • Conduct and maintain competitive research and knowledge around the Unified Communications and Collaboration market
  • Identify and recommend possible optimization tasks to customers
  • Communicate and work closely with the sales team related to ongoing events with customer situations

Required qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years relevant experience in technical support/technical sales role
  • Has a passion for customer interaction, training, and driving adoption of technology focused on solving communication challenges.
  • Understanding of the industry, including organizations such as Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Avaya, Polycom, Zoom, Bluejeans, and other related partners/competitors in the visual collaboration landscape
  • Strong communicator; proven track record in customer service role
  • Must be comfortable in a dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base
  • Ability to rely on experience and sound judgement to plan and accomplish goals
  • Ability to juggle a variety of tasks, and be comfortable working independently with remote support
  • Display extremely strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Possess strong presentation skills

Solutions Architect – Reston, Virginia, US

We are looking for passionate, high-performance solutions architect professionals to help customers overcome collaboration challenges brought on by video platforms that do not natively work together, and to help organizations enable their mobile and distributed workforces to be productive wherever they are, working on the device of their choice.

What’s the Opportunity? 

Pexip is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to be based out of our Reston, VA office. The Architect will serve as a technical member of a sales team and be responsible for giving technical presentations/deep dive sessions, conducting training classes for partners and customers, installing and maintaining proof of concept deployments, and serving as an ongoing technical liaison to customers. In addition, Solutions Architects help with market research and working with Pexip’s R&D team to quantify product changes to assist with customer needs.

This individual must be highly energetic, a self-starter, and customer focused. They must be outgoing and able to speak to both technically-minded and C-level business-focused individuals within the customer and partner base.

The solutions Architect will report to the Vice President of Architecture. The position is based out of the Reston, VA office. Some domestic and international travel is required on an “as needed” basis based on customer and opportunity requirements (up to 30%).

Role and Responsibilities 

Some of the responsibilities for the position include:

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining Pexip products and services to customers and prospective customers
  • Work with customers to explain and help integrate Pexip Infinity with other portions of the customer communications and collaboration stack
  • Work with customers to identify existing problems and help evaluate possible solutions
  • Closely collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
  • Assist sales teams in opportunity qualification to determine which should move to Proof of Concept
  • Secure and renew orders; maintain close contact throughout the entirety of the customer relationship to provide technical and roadmap updates
  • Work with customers to identify areas of product improvement and relay those needs to the internal product and development teams
  • Help clients solve problems with installed equipment
  • Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production
  • Conduct and maintain competitive research and knowledge around the Unified Communications and Collaboration market

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’ s degree required
  • 7+ years relevant experience in sales engineering or solutions architecture
  • Good technical understanding of Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Avaya, Polycom, Zoom, BlueJeans, and other related partners/competitors in the visual collaboration landscape
  • Good technical understanding of virtualization technologies, e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V is a plus
  • Proven track record in software sales and have sound knowledge of technology
  • Must be comfortable in a dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base
  • Ability to rely on experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Ability to juggle a variety of complicated tasks, and be comfortable working independently with remote support
  • Display extremely strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess strong presentation skills and be very comfortable presenting to groups of cross-functional clients (business and technology)
  • Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
  • 100% professional and can patiently and effectively communicate complex concepts to audiences with varying skill levels, in person, on the phone, and via email
  • Highly self-motivated and organized individual that has excellent project and task management skills
  • Must be able to prioritize effectively

What’s the opportunity? 

We are looking to significantly grow our US Enterprise Sales Manager (ESM) team and capabilities. ESM’s contribute to the business by actively developing new business with enterprise-level companies through a consultative selling approach in their specific geographical territory. We have openings in sales territories that include the following target cities and verticals (but we can be flexible on the location for the right candidate):

  • Irvine, CA
  • S. Federal Vertical

The ideal candidate for this position has at least 10 years of professional experience in video, collaboration, and/or SaaS sales, with hands-on experience leading organizational change efforts. In addition, the ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years’ experience meeting or exceeding sales goals. Candidates must be skilled in developing high-trust relationships with prospects, reselling partners, as well as colleagues.

The ESM’s principal role is to sell into large and strategic opportunities, primarily in the mid-market/enterprise space. The ESM will be responsible for prospecting and creating their own sales pipeline and sales success. They will also work closely with the partner’s sales professionals to become engaged in large and strategic opportunities with the final objective of meeting and exceeding territory sales targets.

What do I need to be successful?

  • Extensive experience in both a direct sales and channel-driven model with at least 10 years selling into enterprise accounts at the C-level
  • Passionate; relentless energy in pursuit of helping customers achieve a better collaboration solution
  • Ability to operate and move deals through complex, technical sales process
  • Possess a strong track record of achieving over 100%+ of your quota, since that’s when your year truly starts!
  • Experience selling video and collaboration products and services
  • Capable of managing a large territory with a diverse customer base
  • Ability to penetrate net new accounts and strategically value sell
  • Ability to leverage existing business relationships and contacts to accelerate sales success
  • Leverage and collaborate with internal/external resources including channel partners, sales engineers, marketing, customer success, etc.
  • Have a deep understanding of the Enterprise IT/infrastructure/collaboration industry, where the market is heading, what’s hot/what’s not, and why we matter
